Sometimes those that are more put together than others already have their 2020 plans in place.
And we thank God for you people because you help keep the rest of us on our toes!
But for others, the only thing that’s on our mind at this time of the year is what we’re going to be doing for the Christmas holidays.
Take some time off…
Relax and unplug…
Eat a lot…
Give great gifts…
And a whole lot more.
There’s not at all wrong with any of those things.
I’ll be doing each of those myself, so if you’re gonna do it, then do it big and enjoy it!
Granted – the planners mentioned above already have all their Christmas stuff buttoned up and they’ve probably been done since July, amiright?
It’s usually that NEXT week – the week between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day that many start thinking about what they’re going to do in the New Year.
- Plans start to get made.
- We start thinking about the future.
- Resolutions are made (or not. Are New Year’s Resolutions a thing any more to anyone outside of gyms and retailers? But I digress…)
So it then happens that it’s time to start making plans for what we want to accomplish.
I’ve got some major stuff coming to help you with that, but more on that later.
Rewind to just a few months back and we were all thinking about summer and what we were going to do on summer vacation!
But time flies — fast — especially when you’re having fun (queue up the classic Bangles tune).
And now here we are – standing on the precipice (like that 3 dollar word?) of 2020!
Let me ask you this:
Did you accomplish what you said you were going to accomplish in 2019?
I’ve struggled with this myself for years.
Lofty goals but not enough progress.
Sure – I got a LOT done in 2019.
A few months back I had one of those “aha!” moments that profoundly changed the way I do things.
Now I’m more focused than ever, and I’m making progress by leaps and bounds.
I had a realization that blew me away.
I felt like all the pieces of the puzzle fell in to place and I could finally see the whole picture.
So stay tuned – I’ll tell you all about it.
It’s time to get ready (or finish getting ready for our over-achievers) to jump into 2020 like a ninja and hit the ground running!
