It’s been a crazy week, and I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to getting some rest this weekend. Need to get that time to recharge the batteries!
School just started, so my daughter is back in class, and just as if it was set by timer, she’s sick already. Thankfully, it’s not as bad as it’s been in years past, and she’s rebounding well.
I’ve been working hard on a bunch of stuff.
My biggest focus right now is getting the redesign of my blog completed.
I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time, and I spent a ton of time researching, planning, and designing it, and it’s ALMOST done!
I have to admit – I’m pretty excited.
Within the next week or so it will be LIVE!

As a web developer, that’s one of the most exciting times of a project – to finally roll it out!
Having a well-designed blog is great, but I’ve found that one of the biggest challenges is keeping your well of topics fresh and following.
I’ve got a running list of probably 100 different things I’d like to write about.
I’ve got a whole category of stuff that actually serves as the outline for a book I’m working on – so many fun and good ideas there.

Over the last several years I’ve had the opportunity to work with thousands of entrepreneurs, bloggers, podcasters, vloggers (think YouTube), etc..
You’ve probably heard how important it is to be consistent in your marketing. Blogging, creating videos, and podcasting are foundational tools for marketing your business.
It’s never been easier to create a community of people who know, like, and trust you than it is through these media platforms.
There are a LOT of people who start blogs only to give up blogging shortly thereafter.
It’s easy for life to get in the way and it can be hard to sit in front of a computer to hammer out that piece that connects with people.

Even if you don’t use these actual topics, it will hopefully still get your brain thinking, and trigger some other ideas.
