It was just filler – there was no rhyme or reason to it. I just knew that I had to have one, and that was about it.
So I did the bare minimum.
Until I got shocked into reality.
One day I looked at my analytics and saw how much traffic was bouncing and leaving from my “about me” page.
It hurt. Deep.
It was a very easily solved problem, but I didn’t even know what I was supposed to be doing.
So I rolled up my sleeves and went to work. I started studying every “about me” page I could find.
My Google skills were being put through the paces.
And when I started looking around I noticed what the influencers in my space were doing.
I was blown away.
The pages that I was seeing were absolute works of pure digital marketing art.
They were pillars of branding for the people that owned them and I was super-determined that I was going to learn everything I could and put it all together in one amazing page, and that’s exactly what I did.
