You’re searching for an honest review of the One Funnel Away Challenge so that’s what I’m going to give you.

You don’t want fluff.

You don’t want exaggeration, or hyperbole.

If you know me at all then you know that I’m not one who’s prone to exaggeration. I have a strong conviction that words have meaning so I always do my best to choose them carefully when I say something or make any kind of claim.

So when I say that the new version of OFA is easily worth 10x what you pay for it, I’m not kidding.

The point of all this is I want to tell you about my experience. I want to cover the reasons why I think it’s worth your time – especially if you’ve ever thought about starting an online business of any kind.

I’m writing this review because I think there is a lot to be learned from the One Funnel Away Challenge, especially for people who are new to online business and businesses who don’t traditionally do business online, and it’s a fantastic exercise for going deep and doing it fast. But it’s also not for everyone.

You’ve heard of Tough Mudder, right?

It’s a completely insane race that’s specifically designed to test your ability to endure some crazy stuff like a plunge into an ice and water-filled pit, electric shocks, climbing greased skate ramps, in addition to other obstacles not the least of which is a distance run.

Sounds like fun, right?

Maybe, maybe not, depending on your idea of fun.

But the point of the challenge is to test yourself, build camaraderie with your teammates, and endure some crazy stuff.

At the end of a Tough Mudder race, no doubt that the feeling of accomplishment is off the charts.

You presented yourself with some crazy challenges, fought through crazy obstacles, and came out on the other side better for the experience.

The One Funnel Away Challenge isn’t anything like that, but it will test you and challenge you (hence “challenge” being in the name) but just without the crazy, wild and painful stuff, like Tough Mudder.

It’s a complete immersion into the world of online sales funnels, that moves fast but feels like time is hardly passing at all.

What’s New In The One Funnel Away Challenge for 2021?

This article is a work in progress, and as of this writing the One Funnel Away Challenge version 2.0 is just getting started,  but I can tell you that it’s already so much better than it was before.

Not that there was anything bad about the first version, it’s just super clear that they’ve listened to their users and found out the places where people are struggling and put solutions in place to address that.

The first thing that hit me right off the bat was Russell’s new Flagship Results framework. This session alone is worth the price of admission. If you’ve ever struggled trying to figure out how to construct an offer, then you will definitely want to see this – it was eye-opening, and incredibly informative.

Then Rachel Miller – One Funnel Challenge Away alumna extraordinaire – taught an amazing session on traffic that was profoundly good.

One Funnel Away Challenge Workbook PDF

In the old version of the One Funnel Away Challenge each day came with its own PDF workbook.

You’d download the PDF for your OFA homework and so you could have a reference point to review (and you should review your notes and the one funnel away challenge workbook pdf pages to get the most out of it).

In the new version, the workbook PDFs have been replaced by “One Pagers”. This is a new platform that ClickFunnels co-founder Dylan Jones has created and it’s a great way to manage your notes and homework for the Challenge.

First – everything in the One Funnel Away Challenge can be done without needing to sign up for a ClickFunnels account.

However…

I DO recommend using ClickFunnels for the Challenge and here’s why.

ClickFunnels is specifically designed to do the tasks that we’re covering in the One Funnel Away Challenge, so it fits together perfectly keeping you focused on learning what you need to learn.

But that’s why I also recommend waiting to sign up for your ClickFunnels account until later in the Challenge.

ClickFunnels has a free 14 day trial and if you do your homework right, you’ll have everything ready to go when it’s time for you to start building out your funnel and you can maximize your free trial to decide whether or not you want to stick with it or not.

You can always cancel later if you want to switch back to WordPress or any of the other ClickFunnels alternatives afterward.

Before you do that though, read my article on “What is ClickFunnels” here. ClickFunnels is the industry leader here for good reason. It’s not perfect but it’s the best.

Technically you can do any of this stuff with anything – you don’t HAVE to use ClickFunnels, it just makes everything a lot easier and faster, and getting slowed down during the Challenge is not what you want to do.

If you put in the time and effort and you go all-in, this will be the most valuable training you ever complete.

But you have to be committed to doing the work.

That means answering the questions on the one-pagers and getting involved with an accountability partner or study group.

It means wrestling with new concepts until you’ve got it right.

Jimbo Fisher, former head football coach of my alma mater, Florida State, had a saying that I always thought was amazing.

He said “we don’t practice until we get it right. We practice until we can’t get it wrong.”

“Amateurs practice till they get it right; professionals practice till they can’t get it wrong.”

You’re going to get the material you need, it’s up to you on what you do with it.

Be prepared to dig into the tech side of things too. Then there is copywriting. Creating the copy for your funnel pages was the hardest thing for me. I’m not a copywriter and getting the messaging right is such a crucial part of being successful with your funnel, so this was a big challenge for me.

You have to take the time to do the work so I recommend that you carve out some additional time in your day. If you need to, stay up late, or get up early or both.

What’s the Next One Funnel Away Challenge date?

Who is the One Funnel Away Challenge for?
