What’s the main problem with most offers and content you see these days?
It’s that they promise the world but don’t fail to deliver.
It’s how we all get hooked into various offers, right?
We see the tantalizing headline with the promise of a result that comes with “ease” and without any roadblocks standing in your way.
That is, of course, until you’ve pulled the trigger.
Once you pull that trigger you’re no longer in control.
You’ve forked over your hard-earned dough, hoping that you’re going to get at least a 1-to-1 return on investment, but really you expect more, and rightly so.
Now you’re standing on faith that the claim that got you hooked in the first place is something that the vendor is able to deliver.
How do I know?
Because I’ve been there, done that, and got the t-shirt to prove it.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m sick and tired of offers promising results that fail to deliver.
After all, that’s what we’re really all after, right?
Because, if they really CAN deliver the result that they’re promising then price should be no barrier at all – regardless of whether it’s a low-ticket initial offer of a couple hundred bucks, or a big high-ticket offer that’s several thousand.
Why am I telling you all this?
Because as fellow online entrepreneurs I want to challenge you to be relentless about delivering results in your online business.
Those 7 letters make all the difference in the world.
For me, I’ve been fortunate to have a results-oriented focus for the longest time.
My dad relentlessly reminded me that “any job worth doing is worth doing right”, and called me to a high standard as far back as I can remember.
And it stuck with me since my earliest memories of my dad even up until now.
Like Steve Larsen’s dad said to him on that fateful trip back home from college, “what are you doing with my name?”
WOW – what a question!
Being focused on delivering results has been a staple of my professional life for years now personally, and has delivered some pretty awesome stuff for me and my family.
Because I’m always asking myself, “is this the best that I can do?”
And I push myself.
It’s why I’m able to charge what I do for the design & development projects I’ve done.
Because my work delivers results, and it’s got my name on it.
If it sucks, it’s got my name on it. If it’s great, it’s got my name on it.
And I’m all about making sure that my name is associated with high-quality work that delivers real-world results.
You don’t want to be that person – guy or gal – who’s not absolutely obsessed with delivering results for your customers and clients.
If they’re not getting results, it’s not their fault – it’s yours.
You either didn’t qualify them properly when you were bringing them in, or you’ve let them down by not caring enough.
Don’t be that person – guy or gal – who desperately needs the money because it’s going to show in your results.
Don’t ignore your gut because you need the work.
Nothing good ever comes from that.
That simply isn’t an acceptable scenario.
So be relentless in delivering real-world results in your business.
Whether you’re a blogger.
Whether you’re a podcaster.
Whether you’re a YouTuber.
Whether you’re an information entrepreneur or digital marketer of any kind.
At the end of the day, whether you’re just getting started with your first online business idea or your Gary Vee and the whole world knows your name, your degree of success is in direct proportion to your ability to deliver results for your dream customers.
