gift-ideas-smShopping for the blogger in your life just got a lot easier. If you have someone in your life who makes their living online, then you’ll love this list.

Whether they’re a blogger, an aspiring online marketer, or website owner, I figured you might need a hand figuring out what to get, so I collected a few things that I use (and want) that might help give you an idea or two.

This list gives you options to find meaningful gifts hat they will really enjoy, and encourage their aspirations.

Gear

You have to get the right gear in place to help you do your best work. That means the right coffee, the right tunes, and being comfortable so you can focus. Here are a few good ones.

In-Ear Headphones – When it’s time to get things done, it’s time to put the headphones on. Quality, comfortable headphones are a must-have. These are the ones I use and the quality is great, and they’re far more comfortable than the ones that ship with your iPhone.

Backpack/Bag – This is really close to the backpack that I use to carry around my stuff. It’s great. Plenty of space for my Macbook Pro, tablet, phone, and notebook, but not bulky.

Standing Desk from Ikea – I just ordered this one for my office. Bigger ticket item, but I’ve found that working without my standing desk is difficult.

Good Coffee – Is there a substitute for good coffee? No, there isn’t. End of conversation. These guys produce some of the best coffee I’ve ever had, and you’ll be glad you picked some up, for yourself as well as your blogger.

The perfect coffee mug – I’ll admit I don’t have one of these, but I want one bad. Should have got in on their Kickstarter campaign when it ran.

Tools

These are tools that help you do business better. If you’re going to put the time and effort in to building an online business you need to commit to using the right tools for the job.

LeadPages.net – Your blogger will love you for this one. This is one of the best marketing tools available.

Longtail Pro – Keyword research is a part of any blogger’s marketing efforts and there isn’t a tool that’s easier to use that this one.

WPLaunch – Take all the time and labor out of setting up a new blog with my WordPress hosting and setup service.

Stock Photos Subscription – I use Adobe Stock, but there are others. Having pro quality images at your fingertips is such a time-saver and your blogger will love you for it.

Scrivener – This is one that I’ve been wanting to learn better (more on that below), but it’s a great tool for writers.

Evernote Premium – I upgraded my Evernote account a couple years back, and it was a fantastic decision.

Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription – Every website owner needs pro tools to get the job done. Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Premier Pro and more – they’re all here, and this is a fantastic option to give.

Courses

Ever want to pick the brain of the most successful people online? Picking up a course they’ve created is a great way to do that. I’ve got a couple here that I’ve picked up myself, and can say that these are worth the time and effort.

Longtail University – Spencer Haws – I bought this when it first came out, and it’s been awesome. Spencer delivers the depth that I’ve been looking for, and it’s a great course for marketers.

Best Year Ever – Michael Hyatt – Goal setting is a big deal this time of year, and it will be a top priority for a lot of people, including myself. Hyatt always produces fantastic content, and I’m looking forward to this one this year.

Learn Scrivener Fast – For the writer, Scrivener is a great tool but it be intimidating. I got this course a while back, and look forward to diving in.

Point Black SEO Backlink Building – This is still the best course I’ve seen on building backlinks. Jon does a great job with this course and it’s worth your time and money if you’re serious about building backlinks.

Themes

Custom web design isn’t always the answer. Sometimes you just need your site to look great out of the box and you don’t want to spend a lot of time and effort to make that happen. A custom theme can be just the answer your blogger is looking for.

StudioPress Themes – Great for using the Studiopress child themes, or as a framework for building custom-designed wordpress sites.

Get Noticed! Theme – Another great tool from Michael Hyatt & team. This is the perfect theme for those trying to build a platform in the way he teaches it.

The Rest

Sometimes you just don’t know what to get, and that’s ok. Your online entrepreneur will appreciate an Amazon Gift Card – trust me.
